The four main SIA training courses

The course you take depends entirely on the security role you want to work in. There are four primary routes:

How long do the courses take?

At Secure X Premium, the Door Supervisor Course runs over 6 days and the CCTV Operator training over 3 days, both scheduled from 09:30 to 18:30. What documents do you need to enrol?

For any SIA training course at Secure X Premium, you must bring the following on your first day. These are required to verify your identity and submit your licence application to the SIA:

  • Valid photo ID (passport or driving licence)
  • Proof of address (recent utility bill or bank statement)
  • Passport-sized photographs
