SIA Door Supervisor Refresher / Top-Up Training

From 1st April 2025, a Refresher qualification is required for all existing SIA-licensed Door Supervisors applying to renew their licence. This requirement also applies to those who have not recently worked in the industry or have not performed any Door Supervisor duties since obtaining their licence.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing)

• Learners without a valid First Aid certificate must choose the package that includes First Aid, as it is mandatory
• Must complete ACT (Action Counter Terrorism) eLearning – guidelines will be provided by the centre

• Conducting effective search procedures
• Safeguarding vulnerable people
• Understanding and responding to terror threats
• Preventing incidents of spiking

• Legal implications of physical intervention
• Risks and how to manage them
• Applying safe, effective self-defense techniques
• Performing non-pain compliant standing, holding, and escorting methods

Self-Study Materials

Assessment & Exam

• Assessment includes multiple-choice exams and practical demonstrations
