Eligibility and Requirements

SIA License:

● Eligibility: Minimum level 1 English proficiency with reading, writing, speech, and listening

● Medical fitness: Physically and mentally fit to perform his duties

● English language Proficiency: Able to communicate fluently in English, verbally, and in writing

First Aid in Emergency Training:

● Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Certificate: This is the minimum qualification for security guards.

● Valid Certificate: Your EFAW certificate should be valid for at least 12 months from the start date of your SIA licence.

Certification and Resits

Once you have passed both units, you will receive your certificate within 7-10 business days. You will use this certificate to renew your security licence.
