Purpose Of Door Supervisor & Licence:

Door Supervisors are tasked with undertaking a number of security measures for licenced premises or venues. Depending on the job description, Door Supervisors could be expected to search every single person entering a venue, especially those who appear to be underage. Door Supervisors are responsible for searching for drugs, weapons, and even alcohol if it is not permitted on the premises.

To work as a Door Supervisor, being prepared to search suspects in premises and inform your local authority of any laws broke is an essential part of the job. Additionally, if an unfortunate incident were to occur, Door Supervisors are the first port of call for delivering first aid. For this reason, only a licenced Door Supervisor is allowed to work in a private security industry after completing their qualifications under the rules and laws put forward by the Security Industry Act. Our SIA Door Supervisor Training course will enable successful candidates to get qualified and gain a SIA badge or SIA license to work as a Security Guard or Officer.
